CrimeTrip is a true crime game that utilizes augmented reality and conversational generative AI.

Season Finale release: In 1990, the RCMP Crime Unit conducted an investigation known as Contract Project. This operation involved the setup of a sham currency exchange office, the Montreal International Monetary Center, to apprehend drug traffickers engaging in money laundering. All personnel within the office were, in fact, RCMP officers who had undergone training by the National Bank of Canada to assume roles as professional tellers. A total of $160 million was intercepted through this undercover storefront operation.

In this episode, players take on the role of a detective tasked with preventing money laundering. You must interview five suspects, powered by chat GPT, to coax one of them into becoming a mole and divulging information about the culprits. With a limited number of interactions at your disposal, careful questioning and skillful techniques are essential to convince one of the suspects to cooperate.

Interrogations with the Contract Project suspects involve the use of Speech-to-Text technology for communication. The suspects' responses are rooted in real-life facts and details regarding the crime, necessitating strategic questioning and interaction from players to extract crucial information that aids in solving the case.
